Beacon: A Celebration of the Lighthouses of New England

Seacoast, New Hampshire artist Debbie Mueller will be presenting an “All Lighthouse” show of her original oil paintings at the Kennedy Gallery from November 5-November 30, 2021.  The show is titled “Beacon”, in recognition of the function of our lighthouses, and how they also metaphorically represent guidance, illumination, clarity, and protection.

Mueller is an award-winning oil painter whose light-filled, bold, and contemporary paintings have been actively collected.  She has rapidly gained prominence in the community of New England artists since beginning to paint in 2016. Her work is carried by several fine art galleries, and she has exhibited nationally in juried shows.

The American Lighthouse Foundation serves a vital function in maintaining 18 lighthouses in the Northeast.  Mueller and the Kennedy Gallery will be donating 20% of the proceeds from the sale of these paintings to the organization to assist them in this important work.

Mueller will present at least one painting of each of the 18 lighthouses under the wing of the American Lighthouse Foundation, in addition to a number of other New England lighthouses that are loved by all.  In addition to original paintings, prints of her  250^th Anniversary portrait of the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse will also be available. (Sales of prints sends a 20% donation to the Friends of the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouses, a chapter of the ALF).
