Overview:
Located 25 miles north of the historic town of Marquette and nestled on the cliffs of Lake Superior, rests the Big Bay Point Lighthouse Inn. The Big Bay Point Light Station is a privately owned and operating residence.
For over a century, mariners have relied on Big Bay Point’s light to guide them along this remote, dark and rocky stretch of Michigan coastline. Although automated in 1941, the romance and lore of the site are undimmed.
