DESCRIPTION:This is the first of three exclusive boat trips the American Lighthouse Foundation has partnered with Camden Harbor Cruises for in 2026 – come along and see some of the offshore lighthouses in Midcoast Maine!  \nJoin us on Sunday\, June 28th for a special 8-hour cruise aboard the Camden Harbor Cruise’s vessel\, Periwinkle to see 9 Midcoast Maine lighthouses\, including: Curtis Island\, Indian Island\, Rockland Breakwater\, Owls Head\, Whitehead\, Tenants Harbor\, Marshall Point\, Franklin Island\, Two Bush! Our trip will also take us by Eastern Egg Rock where you will have the chance to see puffins and other seabirds. \nWhitehead Lighthouse \nWe will depart from the Camden Public Landing at 8:00am aboard the Camden Harbor Cruises’ vessel Periwinkle and return to the dock around 4:00pm. \nOur journey will take us to each lighthouse for close-up views and give participants ample time for photography. \nIn addition to the narration provided by the crew of the Periwinkle\, an American Lighthouse Foundation representative will be onboard to share interesting lighthouse facts and tidbits. \nTicket Price: $250 per person. DESCRIPTION:This is the second of three exclusive boat trips the American Lighthouse Foundation has partnered with Camden Harbor Cruises for in 2026 – come along and see some of the offshore lighthouses in Midcoast Maine!  \nJoin us on Sunday\, July 26th for a special 8-hour cruise aboard the Camden Harbor Cruise’s vessel\, Periwinkle to see 7 lighthouses in southern Penobscot Bay\, including Matinicus Rock. Other lighthouses you will see are: Curtis Island\, Indian Island\, Rockland Breakwater\, Owls Head\, Browns Head\, Heron Neck\, and Matinicus Rock.  You will also have the opportunity to view nesting Atlantic Puffins at Matinicus Rock Lighthouse\, which is part of the Maine Coastal Islands Wildlife Refuge! \nAtlantic Puffins at Matinicus Rock \nWe will depart from the Camden Public Landing at 8:00am aboard the Camden Harbor Cruises’ vessel Periwinkle and return to the dock around 4:00pm. \nOur journey will allow us to spend approximately 30 minutes cruising around Matinicus Rock\, which will provide ample time to view puffins and other nesting seabirds on the island.
